Neo Environmental, an award-winning and market leading planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate/Assistant Planner to join our expanding team working on large projects in the UK and Ireland.

The role will be based from our Bristol office, with hybrid working.
The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects across the UK and Ireland, with the main focus on renewable energy developments. Prospective candidates will be expected to have excellent report writing skills and be well organised with meticulous attention to detail.

Duties
* Support Senior Planning staff
* Pre-application submissions and meeting attendance with senior staff
* Compiling Site Appraisals and undertake site visits
* Providing input and support for Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements, EIAs, Environmental Reports and other planning reports, etc
* Aiding with Stakeholder Engagement and Community Consultation report production
* Liaising with clients, internal staff and subcontractors
* Organising and scheduling work
* Preparing planning applications
* Helping with tender and Fee Proposal production
Essential Criteria
* Planning degree
* Desire to work towards membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or the Irish Planning Institute (IPI)
* Enthusiastic and ambitious
* Knowledge of the UK and/or Irish Planning system
* The successful candidate will be required to produce reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, and good organisational skills are essential.
* Willingness and ability to work independently and in a growing team environment
* Full driving license
* Interest in Renewable Energy
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in the production of fee proposals or tenders
* Solar farm and/or wind energy experience
* Own transport
