We have an exciting opportunity within the sales team covering the North West and Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will firstly have a passion for food, a fantastic personality, and ideally previous experience working with key group business in the foodservice sector. Key responsibilities key contact for all assigned group business within your assigned region. You are expected to build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention. You are responsible for ensuring that your allocated accounts remain at the expected level of spend and margin, in line with or exceeding budget. Responsible for pricing negotiations with your key groups in line with quarterly seasonal changes. Coordinate menu development days with your customers, ensuring you take the opportunity to upsell products and maximise baskets. Be reactive to any escalated account issues ensuring you seek satisfactory resolution from dept. heads where necessary. You will be responsible for targeted and strategic new business prospecting within your region. In line with your counterpart in the Business development team, be proactive in ensuring routes within your assigned region are running efficiently. Be proactive in identifying the start of fresh product seasons and engage with your customers to raise excitement and implement sales. In line with the NPD team, actively promote new Product presentation & tasting sessions to encourage sales of these lines. Arrange regular and structured depot and supplier visits with our customers to ensure they remain engaged with our business.
