AWE is recruiting a Senior Contract Governance Manager to develop and implement infrastructure contracts, frameworks and collaboration agreements, and to provide advice and guidance on contract management, ensuring the objectives of AWE are met in contract and spirit. Let us introduce the role As the Senior Contracts Governance Manager, you will be developing and implementing contracting policy, boilerplate templates, frameworks for contract management planning and keep up to date on overarching governance. You will also work with stakeholders across commercial, including complex construction contracts, providing advice and guidance on contract management. Who are we looking for? We are ideally seeking individuals with experience in public sector procurement / contract management, who have public procurement regulations knowledge. You will have an understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, including pre and post contract, and experienced NEC practitioner with ideally experience in CEMAR to manage contracts. To ensure success as a Senior Contract Governance Manager, you should have previous experience defining NEC 4 and/or CCS contract terms. Represent AWE across MOD and Government on the Cross Government Construction Commercial Working Group Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: NEC accreditation or experience. CCS contract experience preferable. Experience in business governance and public sector governance. Experience in scoping deliverables. Experience in contract variation management.
