What we need, in a nutshell:
This role is an incredible opportunity to join an ambitious business and work within the finance team to identify process gaps and areas for process improvement. With relentless curiosity, you’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the organisation's current and future needs.

Key responsibilities:
* Work with the finance team to identify process gaps and areas for process improvement, gathering the necessary requirements to design and implement robust, controlled, and where possible automated/system enabled financial processes.
* Support the finance team to evaluate potential designs and solutions.
* Review and test existing and new systems capability and functionality to assess how these can support finance process improvements.
* Support both IT and finance process owners and systems experts to ensure requirements are documented and met.
* Test and document changes to existing processes and establish new processes where needed.
* Support the finance team with any training needs resulting from the above changes.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
* Operational finance process experience.
* Strong documentation skills and ability to write clear, concise business descriptions with appropriate levels of detail.
* Ability to work across multiple functions.
* Proactive and pragmatic.
* Agility and ability to adapt to the needs of the business.
It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
