Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Description: The Cover Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of educational activities within the school setting. The main responsibilities include: Job Duties: Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher Implementing pre-prepared work set by the absent teacher Maintaining a positive learning environment Managing student behaviour effectively Assisting with the preparation of learning materials Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young adults Excellent communication and organisational skills Education: A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or young adults is desirable Knowledge and Skills: Ability to manage classroom behaviour Strong communication skills Organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Further qualifications in education or childcare First Aid certification Working Conditions: The role of a Cover Supervisor involves working within a school environment, following school hours and term dates.
