Main purpose of the role:
We are looking for a skilled mid-weight creative designer to create content for our website, CRM, and social media platforms. Working closely with the Lead Creative Designer, you'll collaborate with internal teams (marketing, social, brand, and e-commerce) to deliver high-quality design work.
* Develop and design creative concepts for social media, the website, and other channels, working to briefs set by various departments.
* Manage documents, assets, and external relationships to ensure seamless project execution.
* Create artwork to meet the requirements for brand and marketing materials.
* Actively participate in branding and design meetings, contributing fresh and innovative ideas and concepts.
* Take responsibility for supporting the creation of graphics for product launches, campaigns, and brand activations, including internal and external communications.
* Assist with e-commerce photoshoots, including image selection, prep work, post-production folder management, and external relationships. Also, manage website refreshes to ensure updated visuals align with brand standards.
* Design and prepare graphics for the website and email communications, ensuring they are ready for handover to the relevant teams.
* Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards, taking responsibility for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of requirements across all marketing/brand communications and materials.
* Ensure all work is delivered on time and to a high standard while pushing creative boundaries and enhancing visual impact.
* Conduct research and apply your design expertise to shape and enhance creative development across various platforms.
* Support junior creatives in their work, act as a mentor, and help develop their skills.
* The role will assist the line manager with various tasks, including administrative duties and supporting the wider team as needed.
* Support the wider brand team with various projects, contributing to the overall brand development and execution.
Person Specification
* Will have a minimum of 2+ years working in a similar role
* A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
* Competent user of Adobe creative suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Experience using video editing software such as After Effects
* Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
* Detailed knowledge of design, layouts, colour, artwork, print, production, brochure design, websites and other digital media.
* An innovative and creative thinker
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Organised with attention to detail
* Confident, self-motivated and proactive

Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes.
