We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teachers to support local Secondary Schools within the Redcar/Saltburn/Marske locality. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with a strong commitment to teaching and a desire to inspire students of varying abilities. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-18.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
* Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies.
* Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
* Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s positive culture.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in English or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level (KS3, KS4, and KS5 preferred).
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
* Passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement and well-being.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
