This role involves supporting and delivering high-quality technical support to UK systems integrators, consultants, and end users. You will provide hardware and software application support and assist in delivering training for Q-SYS and other QSC platforms.
This is a diverse role, requiring collaboration across multiple disciplines and engagement with customers at all levels of the AV industry.
Responsibilities
1. Provide application support and QSC training content across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic markets.
2. Ensure excellent customer experience by diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.
3. Troubleshoot technical problems, including programming, commissioning, and network configuration.
4. Provide prompt, accurate feedback to customers, logging all issues appropriately.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and end users.
6. Participate in industry training to enhance relevant knowledge and skills.
7. Deliver training on Q-SYS products to programmers, system designers, and commissioning engineers.
8. Design pre-sales systems for projects across various verticals.
9. Travel within the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions to deliver training and support to distributors and integrators.
Qualifications
* Degree or relevant industry qualification.
* Strong understanding of audio, video, and networking technologies.
* Experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Installation Engineer, AV Programmer, or similar role.
* Experience supporting AV or IT infrastructure services.
* Ability to manage complex systems within corporate AV/IT environments.
* Experience with products and services beyond hardware alone.
* Support experience with Tier 1 integrators and end users.
* Exceptional technical skills with attention to detail.
* Organized and able to prioritize conflicting tasks.
* Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and in teams.
* Confident and engaging presentation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical information for diverse audiences.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
