Responsibilities:As a Band 6/7 Locum Paediatric Audiologist, you will be responsible for assisting in paediatric audiology assessments and performing a variety of tasks, including carrying out hearing aid repairs, ordering stock, and responding to patient queries and correspondence. You will conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders in children. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our paediatric audiology services. Your role will also involve providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications and Experiences:
* Degree in Audiology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Proven experience in paediatric audiology.
* Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in paediatric audiology.
