Flourish Education is currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school in Balsall Heath to join their staff on a long-term basis. Our client wants to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work with a group of SEN children in KS1. The children are mainly autistic. The role is a mixture of classroom based and working within the school's SEND provision providing support 1-1 and in small groups. Responsibilities in this role include supporting the children to meet their individual needs, keeping the children engaged and monitoring their progress. You will also be working closely with other Teaching Assistants. Personal care is required at times as one child is in pull ups. This Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. This position is full time 08:30am-3:30pm.
