Position Overview
As a member of the Corporate Total Rewards Team, the Global Talent Mobility Partner contributes to the execution and management of our global talent mobility programs to develop, attract, and retain top talent, promote employee engagement, and foster employee wellbeing. This individual contributor will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as relocation, tax and immigration vendors, Total Rewards team members, and other colleagues.
This is a hybrid role based in our London or Oxford, UK office.
Essential Duties
1. Be a strategic advisor to business leaders including CEO staff and HR, understanding talent and business needs, delivering mobility solutions, and making sound recommendations.
2. Manage all international talent mobility matters, including international assignments, transfers, and cross-country arrangements.
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders based on assignment/relocation type.
4. Initiate assignments and relocations with external vendors.
5. Monitor exception requests and make recommendations within governance frameworks.
6. Provide cost projections to inform decision-making.
7. Work with tax vendors to ensure compliance and conduct audits.
8. Lead immigration matters, including work permits and visas, acting as main contact for international immigration issues.
9. Collaborate with legal counsel and ensure compliance.
10. Manage employee onboarding and guide through relocation processes.
11. Handle employee relocation requests, assess risks, and advise accordingly.
12. Monitor vendor performance and ensure service levels are met.
13. Provide feedback on mobility policies and recommend improvements.
14. Standardize processes, ensure controls, and collaborate on governance.
15. Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to training materials.
16. Manage queries through HR systems and develop self-service content.
17. Generate reports, participate in audits, and support M&A integrations.
18. Act as a subject matter expert and communicate effectively.
Skills
* Knowledge of global mobility and expatriate assignments.
* Experience with international immigration and tax compliance.
* Mobility consulting experience.
* Inclusion mindset and reliable attendance.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
* 7+ years in global mobility.
* Knowledge of HRIS systems, ideally Workday.
* Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional language skills.
* Certifications like GMS, CIPD, CEBS.
* Experience with Workday HCMS or similar systems.
Physical and Travel Requirements
* Work on devices and perform typing for most of the day.
* Seated work with some standing.
* Travel up to 10%.
