The de Ferrers Academy
The de Ferrers Academy is a part of Affinity Learning Partnership. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2011. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for the full range of students from ages 11-18. In 2015 de Ferrers became the first school of Affinity Learning Partnership (a Multi Academy Trust).
Our vision is to ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a deep passion for English, ready to bring creativity and excitement to the classroom. In this role, you’ll have the chance to design and deliver engaging lessons that not only support academic success but also nurture students' curiosity and appreciation for the subject.
We seek someone who is confident in their teaching approach and dedicated to advancing the English curriculum, drawing on the latest research and best practices. As a collaborative team player, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and promoting high standards of learning, achievement, and positive behaviour across the Academy.
