What you’ll be doing As the Channel Partner Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team who will support you in the day-to-day administration of your portfolio. You’ll be setting the teams KPI’s and ensuring that the management of the portfolio is seamless. You will facilitate conversations between our strategic partners and other areas of our business and assist your customers in their net zero journey. Engagement, Organisation and timeliness are key, ensuring account plans and commercial strategy are clear from the offset. You will be driven, enthusiastic, approachable and have a track recording of managing key relationships and hitting targets. Working with key teams throughout EDF Energy, you will oversee multiple activities post sale, collaborating with the teams to ensure your strategic partners receive a high level of service. Being an energy expert you’ll be able to think outside the box in order to secure new business and retain existing. You will be a team player, sharing knowledge and expertise and be up to date on all current market trends and movements. In a fast moving industry where price is often paramount, providing market insight and feedback is key. Whilst you will primarily sell fixed price contracts, some knowledge of flexible contracts, export contracts and PPA’s is key to ensuring you are supporting our channel partners and are a well rounded strategic account manager. Who you are - Proven track record in a high-performing sales environment, with a knack for achieving sustainable long-term results. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to devise solutions to complex challenges. - Exceptional communication skills, tailored to meet customer needs with authority. - Quick at building connections and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. - Research and analytical skills to understand customer businesses and industry trends. - Thorough knowledge of the energy industry, particularly in a deal-focused context. - Ability to understand and explain complex electricity sales products and financial scenarios. - Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to managed multiple deadlines in a faced paced sales environment Join Us If you're ready to make your mark in the energy industry, EDF is the place to be.
