Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive school in Newcastle.
About the Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
* Assist the teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
* Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress
About You:
* Experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
* Ability to use initiative and adapt to different learning needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) is desirable but not essential
