Pulse Mental Health is seeking a skilled Critical Care Physiotherapist based in Chesterfield to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Critical Care Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients with severe mental health challenges. NHS experience would be desirable for this role.
Position Title: Critical Care Physiotherapist
Location: Chesterfield
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with critical mental health conditions.
* Design individualized physiotherapy treatment plans to improve physical function and overall well-being.
* Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
* Stay current with developments in critical care physiotherapy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy; certification or specialization in Critical Care Physiotherapy preferred.
* Proven experience working with patients in critical care settings, ideally within mental health or psychiatric care.
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
