Prospero Teaching are currently working with a Special School, based in Salisbury, who are recruiting for an exciting Behaviour Support & Intervention Lead role and are keen to speak to anyone with a suitable background. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Behaviour Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students and staff across the school by: Working directly with students to manage and reduce high-level behaviours Coaching and mentoring staff in relational practices and effective behaviour management strategies Intervening in complex situations to create a safe and productive learning environmentCONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Salisbury, Wiltshire Position - Behaviour Support & Intervention Lead Type of work - Behaviour & Intervention Start date - Immediate Duration / Likely Duration - Temp to Perm End date (if applicable) - N/A Contract type - Temporary to Permanent Full time/part time - Full time, Monday - Friday Minimum rate of pay - £150 per day Hours - 8:15am - 3pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Relevant experience in behaviour management and intervention A strong background in coaching staff and implementing relational practices BILD-accredited training (preferably as a trainer or with sufficient experience to become one) Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 yearsIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
