REGISTERED HOMECARE MANAGER
Deben Willow Care Ltd is looking for an experienced CQC Registered Home Care Manager to join our existing management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring that all operational and legal requirements are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and progressive Care provider.
Requirements of Post
* Provide a proven track record and ability to ensure successful registration with the Care Quality Commission as a Registered Manager.
* Take a positive lead in managing and maintaining accountability for the range of services that facilitate the delivery of the highest standards of homecare to all service users and the management and supervision of homecare staff teams.
* Be confident in leading daily operational duties, care management knowledge, planning assessment protocols, and delivering a complete range of social care requirements.
* Maintain and promote a culture of continuous service improvement and safety to ensure professional standards and best practices are embedded throughout the business model.
* Review and maintain continuity by structured oversight, ensuring all health & safety protocols are implemented for the wellbeing of all service users.
* Maintain a structure for all service-related reviews including scheduled/unscheduled care plan updates for service users.
* Guide and utilize your senior staff team while maintaining responsibility as care management lead for monitoring each service user’s care delivery and needs.
* Maintain good communication channels with all relevant healthcare partners, advocates, and family members for positive outcomes.
* Work with the Business manager to maintain resources and business income to ensure effective use of budgets and growth.
* Be responsible for providing excellent leadership, developing care services, and effectively managing care resources.
* Ensure all members of the care team are competent and maintain knowledge through structured training.
* Embrace and deliver all care to high standards, working as a team to meet the strategic aims of the business.

Key responsibilities:
* Travel to clients and complete on-site meetings and investigations.
* Oversee the overall operations of the homecare services.
* Coordinate and manage the staff team and meetings.
* Liaise with healthcare partners and professionals.
* Act as lead in ensuring CQC compliance and adherence to company policies.
* Work alongside the Business manager and Finance team in managing budgets and overall business performance.
Registered Manager requirements:
* Proven management experience in Health and Social Care with the ability to lead and motivate your senior team.
* Level 5 NVQ or proven progression towards the qualification.
* Knowledge of existing CQC regulations and ability to maintain an up-to-date skillset in Health and Social Care legislation.
* Ability to work with key stakeholders to strategically plan for business stability and continuity.
* Proven track record in business and financial strategy within the private care sector.
* Commitment to achieving an 'Outstanding’ rating within your registration and delivering high-quality person-centred care.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, families, and professionals.
* Maintain high-quality assurance to CQC standards.
* Manage the Care Team and Senior Support Workers.
* Ensure high-quality care service is provided that meets the needs of service users and maintains their dignity and autonomy.
* Be fully aware of all organisational policies and procedures and ensure they are linked to service provision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £42,500.00-£47,750.00 per year
