Key Responsibilities:

4. Provide commercial advice and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
5. Manage subcontractor relationships, including negotiation, contract approval, and performance monitoring.
6. Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and minimize financial risk on projects.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the rail or civil engineering sector.
2. Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial principles (e.g., NEC or JCT contracts).
3. Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage budgets effectively.
4. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. RICS or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
