Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Tax Semi-Senior, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s personal tax clients while developing your expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, sole traders, and high-net-worth individuals.
* Assisting with the review of junior staff’s work, providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.
* Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality service is delivered.
* Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
* Supporting tax planning initiatives and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements
Personal Tax Semi-Senior Ashford
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
* Experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice
* Ideally studying towards, or holding, ATT qualifications (Study support can be provided)
* Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail

Requirements
The Personal Tax Manager will be: ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualification. Significant experience in a tax role within a practice environment. Confidence in a client-facing role. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance. The ability to mentor and guide junior staff members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
