We are looking for a Head of Quality to join our Infrastructure Water team in Cambridge.
What you'll do:
* Support the development of the Quality elements of the strategy for AMP8 including detailed action plans and timescales, to implement strategic objects across the Alliance.
* Develop and deliver presentations and provide tactical oversight of Quality action plans and data to ensure continual improvements and change accordingly.
* Lead and manage a risk-based assurance strategy being agile and flexible to respond to emerging issues and trends.
* Identify key focus areas and work with the SHEQ Director to set measurable targets for continuous improvement in Quality performance consistent across all Business Units.
* Proactive involvement throughout the engineering and design phases, working closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure Quality processes are understood and followed.
* Ensure Quality standards and practices are consistent and compliant for each individual project and across the Alliance.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction (Degree/HNC or similar).
* Experience of producing and meeting requirements of Inspection and Test Plans.
* Knowledge of construction techniques in particular water projects.
* Good understanding of Quality within the Design Process.
* Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team.
