We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Dorset Pain Management Service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to deal with patients both face to face and via the telephone. Previous NHS experience would be beneficial.
The Dorset Pain Management Service is a vibrant service, consisting of an inter-professional team working pan-Dorset. We offer individual interventions and group programmes in various locations county wide; these are delivered by two teams across the county. The staff mix includes pain consultants, psychologists, specialist physiotherapists, pain and mental health nurses and occupational therapists, therapy assistants, trainees from various departments and our hardworking admin support team.

The post will be based at Littlemoor Health Centre with some options of hybrid working following a successful probation period. You will be working as part of a supportive administration team, spread across various locations in Dorset, supporting a multi-disciplinary team of pain specialists who help people cope with chronic, non-malignant pain to lead meaningful lives. The role involves managing waiting lists and booking appointments and providing a confidential administration support to the pain consultants.
