If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Join our team on full or part-time hours, on a term time only, permanent, or fixed term, basis, working closely with our Head of Inclusive Learning and Development to adopt innovative approaches to manage, develop, and promote Learning Support across all of Plumpton College’s campuses. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in ensuring that students with SEND are assessed effectively and that their progress is monitored. The postholder will work with the Head of Inclusive Learning and Development and Leads to ensure that students` learning needs are met through provision, planning and monitoring and through ILPs (individual learning plans) mirroring of final exams Access Arrangements in 1-1s, small group support and bespoke support sessions as required. The postholder will have an extensive knowledge of SEND and the EHCP review process, will be familiar with all legislation. What You’ll Do: Conduct assessments for Exam Access Arrangements. Provide one-to-one and group academic support for students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) and SEND. Lead and develop small group interventions and workshops tailored to diverse learner needs. Carry out annual reviews for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive learning strategies. Stay up to date with assistive technologies and learning resources. Support curriculum planning and delivery through initial assessments. What We’re Looking For: A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent). Level 7 qualification to assess for Exam Access Arrangements (or willingness to achieve it). Expertise in supporting learners with SpLD, SEMH, and SEND. Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, collaborative approach. Comprehensive IT skills and a passion for student success. Desirable: Supervisory experience or qualifications.
