Field-based Fuel Technician - South
Marble Talent group is looking to recruit a field-based Fuel Systems Technician/Engineer responsible for delivering Fuel System Maintenance and Inspection services on nationwide contracts.
The position would suit candidates that live in and around the M4 corridor/London. Although based within commutable distance to the M4, the role requires regular nights away from home due to the locations of the clients' customer sites, with the length dictated by the length of the project.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Fuel sampling and analysis
2. Fuel cleaning to the required specification
3. Surveying and report production
4. OFTEC tank maintenance, pipework installations, testing, and inspection
5. Maintaining positive relationships with our clients and other members of the public affected by works on site
Requirements:
1. A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
2. The ability to prioritize tasks to meet changing business needs
3. Excellent time management and personal organizational skills
4. Demonstrable strong problem-solving abilities
5. Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on explaining detail
6. Ability to work well in a team environment and under your own initiative
7. Ability to work to instruction and deadlines; must be highly motivated
Desirable Qualifications (not essential):
1. OFTEC 600a
2. EUSR persons
3. Confined space (High Risk)
4. IPAF - mobile vertical boom 3a & 3b
5. First Aid at Work
Package details:
1. Salary £40,000 plus (depending on experience) per annum
