These customers are generally multinational businesses, in safety-critical industries for applications throughout Oil, Gas, petrochemical and process industries. They are looking to double the turnover of the company in the next five years and are looking for a Global Distribution expert to grow and maximise revenue through their distributor sales channel. Their products are renowned across the globe, arguably the best in the World. You will assess what’s in situ and make their partners accountable, manage them and if necessary, appoint new partners. This senior role will also involve managing the internal sales and customer service teams in order to modernise and develop them to the next level. The Role You will take full responsibility for this market leading British manufacturers Global Distribution Network. Working with the Global sales team to enhance distribution performance Growth target breakdown for each distributor Appointing new distributors Global Travel visiting major distributors and end users Managing and updating distribution agreements - with KPI’s Developing and managing the internal sales and customer service teams Ensuring all service levels are met Managing performance and coaching of your team Pricing and Margin policies Support and train/coach distributors Global Key Account Management Assisting with big ticket Business Development projects Market intel and Product Development Attend global exhibitions Develop the CRM system Involvement in Marketing and PR Process improvement and business metrics Influence and improve all operational processes The Candidate Inspirational Leader/ track record of developing teams both internal and external Extensive global distribution leadership Ideally sold to the oil and gas market Mechanical Engineering Products experience and/or a solid technical and industrial background. Outstanding commercial track record Able to collaborate, make decisions and accurately forecast Extremely Driven and persuasive You will have worked in manufacturing, you will be familiar with machining technologies, product control and IT systems development Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
