As a Child Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to pupils with significant and complex needs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, safety, and educational progress of these students, fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
* Provide one-on-one or group support to children with SEN and PMLD, helping them engage in learning activities.
* Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning plans based on each child’s specific needs.

The Successful Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children with PMLD, either in a school or care setting. Experience in working with children with SEN is very crucial.
* Have strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Have relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field.
* Be patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting children's development.
* Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Commit to promoting inclusion and helping students reach their full potential.

* Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps).
* An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
