Role Support Team leader
Location - Skipton, North Yorkshire
Contract - Permanent 37.5 hours a week
Salary £27-£29k

We’re looking for Support Team leader to join our team and make a real impact on the lives of those we serve. This role is all about respect, empathy, and commitment – creating an environment where each individual can thrive.
It will be support adults with various Learning Disabilites and complex needs in a 6 bed home.
As a Support Team Leader, you’ll demonstrate:
* Leadership – Step up confidently in the Service Manager’s absence, ensuring seamless management and continuity.
* Compassion and Adaptability – Always prioritize safe, caring, and personalised support.
* Excellent Communication Skills – Be skilled in verbal, written, and digital communication to connect with individuals, families, and colleagues.
* Knowledge and Compliance – Understand and follow relevant policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards.
* Team Collaboration – Engage positively and work as one with the team to handle complex issues, always putting people first.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver ‘Person-Led’ Care – Offer individualised, respectful support, focusing on daily living skills and independence.
* Build Positive Relationships – Partner with each person, their family, and the community to create meaningful experiences.
* Safeguard and Support – Maintain safety and protection from harm, ensuring all services align with support plans.
* Continuous Development – Attend regular training, team meetings, and apply learning every day.
Requirements:
* Flexibility – Work from planned rotas, including night shifts as needed.
* Commitment to Excellence – Always uphold our care and support principles with respect and punctuality.
* Community Engagement – Foster relationships within the community to enhance each person’s support network.
* NVQ level 3 health and social or equivalent is preferred
