Job Description
We are looking for a Civils Supervisor to drive project delivery and lead a team of dedicated site operatives to ensure that every project meets our high standards of quality and compliance with company regulations. These role will support projects in Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Lead a small team of site operatives, ensuring daily paperwork is completed and work is done to a high standard and on schedule.
* Project Delivery: Oversee various work activities, including mains laying, ducting work, draw pit construction, and reinstatement.
* Excavation Techniques: Perform a range of tasks using both mechanical means and hand digging.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to company quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards.
* Reporting: Provide weekly reports on safety, plant, and labour performance.
* Resource Management: Organise resources for daily activities and manage plant and material requirements for site activities.
* Flexibility: Be available to work in various locations across the UK.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Relevant industry skills card or qualifications (CSCS/NVQ/City and Guilds).
* EUSR National Water Hygiene Card.
* SSSTS qualification with at least 2 years of experience.
* Strong background in the water industry is preferred.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
