Wellington College Prep School is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and inspiring Director of Sport to lead our vibrant and successful sports programme. Key responsibilities (see job pack for full details):
* Reporting to the Senior Deputy Head, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering outstanding PE and sports lessons to students aged 3–13.
* Organising and managing fixtures, tournaments, and logistics.
* Overseeing timetabling, staff allocation, and team coaching.
* Line-managing the Head of PE and Sports Administrator.
* Collaborating with Wellington College staff and external partners.
What we are looking for:
Essential
* A proven track record of delivering exceptional PE and sports lessons.
* Expertise in at least two core sports (e.g., football, rugby, netball, hockey, or cricket).
* Experience of, or strong aspirations for, leadership and management roles.
* A dynamic, flexible, and professional character with excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable
* Officiating qualifications and experience managing budgets.
* The ability to thrive under pressure and a meticulous attention to detail.
