It is a rare opportunity to have one of the top tier fee earning roles in our central London lettings business available, but the candidate must demonstrate the right skill set and commitment to succeed. The job is a highly responsible position, working within a fun and extremely hardworking team, operating across the London region. The job will entail developing relationships and negotiating with an international, UHNW customer base. The successful candidate will be expected to form strong ties with these contacts with a view to solidifying their place as a top contact/negotiator in London for the UHNW community. As with all lettings roles, there will be critical office based admin tasks to ensure new business generation, management of our portfolio of applicants and to guarantee smooth, compliant transactions. Key Responsibilities The role requires high energy and a willingness to get stuck in and help whenever necessary with a varied workload in an active and busy department. Often there will be time pressures and short notice requests – the successful candidate should thrive under this pressure and ensure their time management creates an effective structure to meet/exceed targets. The bulk of the everyday tasks required will fall into 3 categories: Successfully let the required number of properties to enable yourself and the department as a whole to achieve its annual plan. To keep abreast of relevant Housing legislation, National issues and to attend appropriate training To comply with the various ‘Codes of Conduct’ of the national bodies the Department is a member of such as ARLA and RICs. If not already NFOPP qualified prepared and ready to commit to becoming an ARLA member and qualified, for which comprehensive training will be provided. To update the Head of Department on current trends you’re finding in the market. As a team player, you will update the Head of Department on your performance and any trends in the market. Candidate Profile The candidate will be a highly accomplished letting or sales negotiator, or assistant manager/manager with a track record of achieving targets within the Super Prime sector. They should also have (as a minimum) some experience of pitching and negotiating terms of business with UHNW clients. The candidate needs to be comfortable with spending considerable amounts of time on the telephone as well as face to face review meetings with clients, applicants and contacts on a regular basis. Business development is another key area we are expecting the successful candidate to be proficient in. Across both the UHNW space and other key industry contacts. Critically we need someone that is tenacious, energetic and very hard working. Willing and able to handle a varied and intense work load, which will often change at short notice. With good IT and organisational skills. Excellent customer service, attitude and a willingness to go on the extra mile to help the team succeed. A Driving Licence Is Required For This Role. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Central London market, specifically within Super Prime.
