Oakleaf Partnership is representing a market leading, international SME Financial Services company. They are looking for a Head of HR for a 12 month FTC. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing the People Strategy to ensure the company meets their business objectives. You will be managing all relevant HR processes and ensure HR policies are implemented across the UK, US, India and Singapore. You will be responsible for finding solutions for better people management, and the smooth roll out of any HR projects. This is a hands on role advising and supporting the management team and employees plus driving international HR projects. What is the role
Leading the HR team, you will be driving and supporting priorities and workflow to ensure the company hits their business objectives. You will be working closely with the Senior Leadership team and utilising key data in to advise them on a commercially focused HR People Strategy, influencing them on the best course of action. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will be providing excellent HR Services to management and employees across the employee spectrum including Talent, Recruitment (they have a growth plan in place), performance management, compensation, L&D and ER. You will be championing continuous improvement and leading/participating in HR projects regionally and internationally. You will also be coordinating and advising senior management on remuneration policies and staff salaries based on external benchmarks and establishing and implementing policies and initiatives across the various HR functions.
Skills and Experience
* You must have gained the above Head of HR experience within Financial Services
* You must have experience of working for an international SME and also used to working in a matrixed environment
* Demonstrate great people management skills with the development mindset
* A proven track record in delivering successful HR projects on budget and in time
* Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
* Demonstrate in depth knowledge of HR trends and practices
* A motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to different business needs and having the mindset of continuous improvement.
* Another European language is desirable but not essential
