Our client seeks a Technology Governance and Risk Analyst to join their team.
Role Profile: The purpose of this role is to support the operation of the Risk Management framework within Technology & Change. The role holder will support the Senior Leadership Team by ensuring timely preparation of all risk related activities across the department. The responsibilities will include the preparation and review of risk assessments for new and existing outsourcing and supplier arrangements as well as the preparation and completion of annual policy reviews.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework within Technology & Change
2. Identify, assess and mitigate technology related risks
3. Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of controls, ensuring they operate as expected
4. Perform and review risk assessments
5. Support the team coordination of internal and external Audits
6. Review, update and report on policies, procedures and registers within the department
7. Support Technology & Change outsourcing and procurement processes; onboarding, annual reviews etc.
8. Raise, review, monitor and report Technology & Change related Risk events including actions
9. Adherence to processes, controls and risk management
10. Support adherence to regulatory requirements
11. Coordinate and perform annual process and policy reviews for policies owned by Technology & Change
12. Timely and accurate reporting of activities, priorities and escalation where required
13. Support and help coordinate releases
Key Skills and Experience
1. Strong critical thinking to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and processes.
2. Proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and process improvements.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Proactive and a desire to learn new skills
5. Analytical and Problem-solving skills
6. Knowledge of ISO27001, COBIT or other IT frameworks
7. Ability to respond to changing regulations, risks, and business needs.
8. Prompt, effective, clear and concise reporting
9. Knowledge of the Financial Services
10. Experience and/or proficiency in risk management / controls
11. Experience working within a Technology, Project management, Risk & Controls Team/structure
