MORTGAGE ADVISER – New and Existing clients Salary £25k-£30k, PLUS OTE £50k - £60k, PLUS Extra Performance Bonuses 4 DAY WORKING WEEK Office based Working with a small, highly friendly and supportive team. Are you an Experienced Mortgage Advisor looking for a fresh challenge? Want to work a 4-day week during the week and chose your day off? Want a huge Existing Client base to work from and fresh leads passed to you daily? If so, there is a high chance this role is for you. Our client are a highly reputable Mortgage Brokerage based within the Bolton area and are looking for someone to primarily manage the firms existing client base (in excess of 500 active clients and growing). There will also be a requirement to deal with any new client appointments that can’t be completed by the rest of the team either due to capacity or holidays etc. The company are looking for someone who is Experienced in both residential and buy to let and can work with a minimum of supervision as they will be the only advisor based in the office full time, You will also be required to support the admin team with any technical queries if needed and also deal with any “walk-ins” or clients who want to come into the office. The vast majority of the clients will be dealt with over the phone. Purpose of the role To competently provide mortgage advice, to clients within FCA rules and our firm’s procedures. Skills and knowledge A relevant approved qualification. Detailed knowledge of FCA and our firm’s record keeping requirements. Responsibilities General Keep up-to-date with mortgage deals, products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace. Comply at all times with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm. Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Conduct Rules. Adhere to the cross-cutting rules and act in the spirit of the Consumer Duty to support the achievement of good Consumer Outcomes Specific Manage firms existing client bank and completing client review meetings when due. Conduct meetings with new clients when required. Gather sufficient client information and identify client needs. Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable mortgage recommendations. Refer clients to protection advisor for protection reviews where appropriate. Complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner. Attain and maintain competent status as defined by FCA and the firm. Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures.
