Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at Henrys Suzuki as an Aftersales Trainee. We are a Glasgow based family business within the automotive industry, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. As an Aftersales Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our aftersales operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a unique hybrid role where your time will be split between our service reception and our parts department. You will receive an IMI accredited Parts Apprenticeship.
Duties:
1. Assist in providing top-notch customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
2. Learn and apply customer service techniques to support the aftersales team in achieving targets.
3. Utilise our dealer management system effectively to manage customer data, appointments, and service requests.
4. Identify parts, order parts from internal/external sources, and pick/pack parts.
5. Communicate with the workshop, manage stock, and handle invoicing.
6. Engage with customers over the phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette to promote upselling opportunities.
7. Collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the aftersales department.
Experience:
1. No previous experience required.
2. Ideally suited for a school leaver who is looking for an exciting career in the automotive industry.
3. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
4. Demonstrated ability or willingness to learn systems.
5. Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.

This is a three-year apprenticeship, and the salary will increase in line with national apprentice rates. Once qualified, you will move to a competitive salary with company benefits.
