We are seeking a dedicated and competent Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's team, working across two well-established practices in the picturesque county of Suffolk. This role is perfect for an experienced general practitioner with a passion for medical cases who is eager to advance their career.
You will be based in a stunning part of Suffolk, surrounded by beautiful countryside, heathland, and woodland. The Suffolk coast, with its breath-taking beaches, is just a short drive away, providing the perfect escape for relaxation. Despite the tranquil setting, you'll be within easy reach of London and Stansted Airport, offering the best of both worlds.
The main practice serves as the primary surgical hub, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, and an In-house laboratory. The practice boasts separate cat and dog kennels, dedicated theatre facilities, a spacious prep area, and a separate dental suite. The second practice focuses on consultations and nurse clinics, with the capability for basic procedures and admits.
You will be joining a supportive and experienced team, comprising 2.5 Veterinary Surgeons (including a certificate holder in ophthalmology and a Cert AVP), 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, and a team of skilled Receptionists. This close-knit team is committed to making your day-to-day work as seamless as possible.

The Rota:
• Full time role or Part time role - 20 - 40 hours per week
• Flexible working to fit in with school hours or other commitments would be seriously considered for this role
• 1:4 Saturday rota with TOIL the following Friday
• No OOH
• Rota is fixed several months in advance (unless in exceptional circumstances), and you will generally only work at one site per day
