Role & Responsibilities
The role of service manager will be a dynamic role and constantly evolving in line with the needs of the business. The role will be hybrid, a combination of working from the office, from home, and out in the field. Main duties to include:
1. Day-to-Day Management of Laundry Engineers
2. Responsible for the timely completion of all Laundry service calls and planned maintenance visits
3. Constantly evaluate service coverage and liaise with management on recruitment of necessary engineers
4. Responsible for the Laundry Engineers van stock management and constant review of top moving parts
5. Responsible for engineers training programs and identify areas of improvement
6. Support Business Development Manager with any service-related inquiries and requirements
7. Work with our Chemical Dosing Service Manager to ensure efficient usage of engineers across both divisions
8. Monitor Laundry Engineers KPI's and address any issues arising from these
9. Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer experience and improve service efficiency
10. Work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure all customer service escalations and queries are dealt with in a timely manner
Required Skills
• Experience in the commercial laundry sector
• Experience as a commercial laundry engineer
• Able to demonstrate leadership
• Able to demonstrate process improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with your team, customers, and the management team
• Ability to problem solve and make key decisions
