At Island Veterinary Associates, we're seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be based at our recently refurbished site in central Stafford. We’re keen to support you by tailoring the caseload to your own specific clinical interests. This role in particular would be ideal for someone with a surgical bias. We’re keen to offer full certificate support as well. There’s also a relocation allowance of up to £5000 for candidates that require it, along with a welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata).
Rota patterns that work for you
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Ideally, we’re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1:4 Saturdays (time in lieu given back). There’s no out of hours or on-call required. We can support part-time applicants as well.
A bit about us
We are a friendly team that works well together. Our fantastic team is composed of 5 Vets, 6 RVNs, 3 Senior RVNs and 6 VCAs. The practice offers access to an excellent array of kit that includes full laparoscopy equipment, arthroscopy, plus much more! We routinely perform complex surgeries & orthopaedic procedures.
