We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the dedicated accounting and finance team for an education organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent numerical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Their team is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment and fostering academic success. Description Assisting in the preparation of accounts and financial reports. Maintaining accurate financial records and performing regular audits. Providing administrative support to the accounting and finance team. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Supporting the finance team with project management and ad hoc tasks. Profile A successful Interim Assistant Accountant should have: Experience in a similar role at assistant accountant level A solid understanding of accounting principles. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong organisational and administrative skills. The ability to work well within a team and independently when necessary. A commitment to the not-for-profit sector and a passion for education. Job Offer An estimated salary of between £14 and £15 per hour. 6 month contract, starting before the New Year.
