This is a permanent, part-time post of 22.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
It is essential the post holder is Registered Nurse with the NMC who can demonstrate a broad range of clinical experience.
A current driving licence is essential for this post along with access to a car as frequent driving between sites is required.
Infection Prevention and Control Nurse

The post holder will be part of a service with responsibility for the implementation of standards for the prevention and control of infection and for monitoring, investigation, management and control of infections across NHSGGC.
The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an Infection Prevention & Control service across a wide ranging portfolio, including mental health and learning disability inpatient sites, ambulatory care hospitals and directly managed community services.
One of the main qualities for this post is the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate evidence of continual professional development. This post does require the applicant to undertake additional education with respect to infection prevention and control.
The post will be based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The post holder may on occasion be required to work within Infection Prevention and Control Teams across different sectors within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
