This brand-new school, opening initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, will incorporate many of the features of John Taylor MAT that have become a hallmark of its success. Having appointed an Executive Headteacher, we are now seeking a suitably experienced and motivated professional to take the lead on all business matters at school level. You'll be responsible for areas like HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Marketing, and organisation of administration processes across the whole school. This role requires someone with the right mix of technical ability, personal skills and adaptability, who can support the Executive Headteacher in building a strong team ethos, ensure compliance and make sound decisions on operational matters.

1. Experience in a similar role at a senior level within an Academy or Academy Trust
2. Sound financial acumen and an in-depth understanding of Academy finance
3. Well-developed people skills and experience of line management
4. Ability to use your initiative and manage your own workload
5. Interpersonal skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders
6. Motivation, flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role
