Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner
Our client, one of the biggest colleges in Oxford is looking for a Conference and Events Manager to join the thriving Events Team.
The working hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis 2 days per week after successfully completing your probation period.

Below are some of your Key Responsibilities:
* Sales of Events and Conferencing space
* Planning multiple events simultaneously throughout the year over two venues
* Be first point of contact for all enquiries (conference, events, meeting bookings), handling these enquiries in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
* Creating event proposals which fit client requirements and presenting proposals in a timely manner
* Overseeing large complex event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery
* Managing client site visits and upsell venue where possible (extra meeting space, dinners etc)
* Creating contracts for client detailing specific requirements for event
* Developing an understanding of the client’s objectives and ensuring event delivery is aligned
* Collecting wine, menu and any dietary requirements in timely manner for departments to order supplies/organise staff rotas
* Maintain a harmonious working relationship with internal and external vendors/suppliers. Co-ordinating any outside vendors/entertainment, including catering, photographers, music, performers, guest speakers etc.
* Overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising external vendors
* Meet and greet client, making sure all meeting space is in correct order before their arrival
* Evaluating event outcomes and implementing improvements for future events
* Providing accurate feedback on client experience and events (and appropriately sharing) as well as supporting other team members, where necessary
* Keeping forecast up to date for Head of Sales reporting
