JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Administrator LOCATION: Corby ROLE: Permanent | Full time | Office based SALARY: Circa £25-£27k Our Corby based clients are looking for a Project Administrator to join their team in a full time and permanent role. Experience in POS would be an advantage but isn’t essential if candidates have a strong administration background and experience working internally with manufacturing teams and externally with clients and suppliers. Good organisation skills are essential and the right level of enthusiasm in supporting more senior colleagues and a willingness to learn and take on more responsibility. THE JOB ROLE • Support the Projects team with the development, tracking and smooth running of client accounts and day to day running of projects • Monitor timeframes, schedules & budgets for small orders, rollouts & client initiatives as required. • Working externally with Clients, Contractors & Suppliers • Preparation of Health & Safety documentation for internal/sites to ensure it is adhered to. • Working externally with sites regarding access times and requirements • Develop, monitor and maintain Project Trackers to provide a ‘live’ report of current project progress & budgets. • With training, respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, place orders, organise deliveries and installations, stock reports and pricing • With training, manage small works projects and roll-outs of projects to include quoting, ordering, logistics, installation & invoicing • Procure & track stock items for stores and small orders. • Development of a supply chain specific to the needs of the projects to include sourcing new suppliers & expanding supplier database. • Following training preparation of Country specific Customs paperwork. SKILLS • Organised and thorough administration skills, including good use of Microsoft office including excel • Good communication skills, works well internally with colleagues (Account Managers/manufacturing) and externally with sites, suppliers – verbally, written and in person • Enthusiastic, happy to support and learn the business/ new skills in order to support the team further • Able to work well under pressure Confident speaking to clients • Preferred but not essential – a Knowledge of POS • Able to work well to deadlines in a busy fast paced environment
