Forestry and Land Scotland is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Central Region team and take on the challenge of planning, designing, and managing construction projects in the stunning Cowal area of Argyll and Bute.
As a Civil Engineer with FLS, you will:
* Design and construct roads, bridges, access routes, and recreational infrastructure.
* Locate and manage quarries.
* Adapt infrastructure to address climate change challenges, including reducing landslip hazards and managing increased water runoff.
We are looking for someone who is:
* Practical and a problem solver with a strong knowledge of engineering design and contracts.
* Experienced in managing construction projects.
* Enthusiastic about sustainable land management.
* Enjoys working with others and being out in nature.
