QA Technical Auditor - Nights

About The Team:
The QA Technical Auditor is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the food safety and compliance standards of the site through audits and checks throughout our large warehouse facilities.
You will be working to ensure best practices are followed at all times. Guided by our Compliance Lead, you'll be directed to maintain the highest product standards whilst delivering on business KPIs working within the FSQA team.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Conducting audits and inspections of our facilities and processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and our internal quality assurance protocols.
* Completion of whole-site audits, including but not limited to GMP, quality compliance, ice process and yard audits.
* Raising and escalating food safety and quality issues and ensuring clear and effective communication.
* Carrying out routine processes such as temperature monitoring and scale verification checks.
* Providing support to the wider site FSQA team with food safety and quality issues.
* Maintaining up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analysing this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained.
* Undertaking basic problem-solving activities and escalating to the Compliance Lead where necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
* Undertaking audits and following through on actions regarding compliance to Food Safety and any other specified standards eg: BRCGS.
* Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
* Any other responsibilities/duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role.
Who You Are:
* HACCP level 2.
* Food Safety level 2.
* Some experience in a technical role within the food industry.
* Proficiency in using Google-Suite Software.
* Good knowledge of food production processes.
* Familiarity with food safety and quality standards.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Ability to work well with your hands.
* MHE experience (PPT, Reachtruck, Counterbalance) required but not essential as full training will be provided.
