ILM Assessor
£30k - £30,500 depending on skills and experience - with Welsh uplift of £500-£2000 pro rata - offered on a case by case basis.
Monday to Friday Full Time FTC 6 months.
Based from home in either South East/West Wales (Travel to learners within 50 miles radius) mileage paid.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating the performance, skills, and potential of learners, providing detailed feedback and helping them achieve their goals of growth and success.
The assessor role involves assessing and supporting learners who are undertaking Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Project Management, Level 3 and Levels 4 and 5 Higher Apprenticeships in Leadership and Management, which includes support to achieve the Essential Skill qualification in Digital Literacy.
Successful applicants will have experience working within a leadership and/or managerial and Project Management role. While qualifications in assessment practice are not essential, a willingness to work towards achieving these on appointment is.
This position is home (field) based; however, as travel is expected to visit learners in the workplace, the ability to travel is essential. Caseload areas will be allocated based on the successful applicant's geographical location. This is usually within an approximate 50-mile radius; however, this may be exceeded from time to time. It is expected that the successful applicant should be based within South East/West Wales.
Your role and responsibilities:
1. Deliver Level 3 Apprenticeship and Levels 4 and 5 Higher Apprenticeships in Leadership and Management, which includes support to achieve the Essential Skill qualification in Digital Literacy.
2. Support learners to progress through the learning journey through effective assessment planning, feedback, and regular learner interaction.
3. Provide constructive feedback to learners on an ongoing basis to ensure learners progress through their programme in a timely manner and to ensure clarity and understanding for all parties.
4. Communicate progress and achievement of learners to the mentor and/or employer consistently throughout the programme.
5. Quality Assurance.
