Our client, a Construction Consultancy based in Tewkesbury, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The Quantity Surveyor will be working on a range of sectors including Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial & Industrial, Retail, Leisure, and Interiors. In this position, you will be taking on projects at varying stages, from inception through to completion. The projects will vary in size, typically ranging from 500k to over 5m. The role will include traditional QS duties, Contract Administration, and Project Management. Quantity Surveyor Position Salary & Benefits

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
1. Preparing and using cost data derived from the plans and drawings
2. Project timeline and program
3. Undertaking feasibility work
4. Producing estimates, budgets, and cost plans
5. Undertaking value engineering, comparative design studies
6. Utilising cost-in-use studies, life cycle costing
7. Preparing and interpreting turnover and cash flow projections
8. Providing cost control during pre-contract
9. Advising on different forms of contract and procurement routes
Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
1. Prior experience working as a QS (contractor or consultancy side)
2. Residential project knowledge is advantageous but not essential
3. Knowledge of JCT Contracts
4. Full UK driving license
5. Relevant Quantity Surveying Degree or similar (not essential if qualified via experience)
