Are you passionate about people and making a positive impact in the workplace? We are looking for a dedicated HR Assistant to join our team.
An approachable member of the team, you will share your knowledge and insight of HR best practices with our operations team members.
You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Using your previous skills and experience, you will support our onsite People Team across all areas of HR and the employee lifecycle. This will include posting adverts and managing applications, as well as following selection processes. You will issue contracts and other onboarding documentation, maintain employee records, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Payroll preparation and processing, along with responding to any queries, will also be key each month.
As development is a key priority for us, you will be involved in the administration of training for our teams and support administrative tasks throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Your skills and experience will include:
1. CIPD Level 3 or above qualification
2. Previous experience working in a HR administrative role
3. Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential
4. Strong understanding of MS Office
5. Strong communication skills
6. Experience working with and providing reports from a HRIS is advantageous
7. Self-motivated individual keen on personal development
8. A good understanding of Employment Law
9. High level of attention to detail
10. Customer-focused, keen to deliver a great level of service to internal stakeholders
