What You’ll Be Doing
Join our vibrant Product & Quality team and play a key role in shaping the villa journey. In this role, you'll ensure that our portfolio of villas is accurately represented and seamlessly shared with all our key partners. As a Product Manager, you’ll not only handle day-to-day tasks but also take on the rewarding challenge of leading and supporting a team of talented Product Executives. You'll provide guidance, resolve queries, and help maintain the exceptional standards our guests expect. Bring your love of travel and attention to detail to this exciting role where no two days are the same!
Your role will support the Head of Product & Quality in the effective control and organisation of all aspects of the Product Team. Key responsibilities including but not limited to:
* Provide weekly/monthly reporting to the Head of Product & Quality.
* Helping to train new Product team members on all systems
* Complete regular 1-2-1s and KPI reporting/monitoring with Product Executives
* Responsibility to manage the team’s holiday, rota and absences
* Holiday Cover for Head of Product & Quality
* Initial escalation point within team
* Ongoing process documentation and development
* Loading / updating properties on the company website, Rentals United and partner websites to support the distribution of the portfolio.
* Effective optimization of villas across website and partner sites (Rentals United, Booking.com, Airbnb etc…)
* To provide administrative support through data entry using a variety of systems used by the company (Drupal, Salesforce, Erin)
* To ensure all product systems are 100% accurate at all times. Any changes to content are checked and recorded accurately by the team.
* Work closely with the Contracting Team to ensure accurate property descriptions
* Building relationships with international suppliers to promote the company’s commitment to quality, competitiveness and innovation and to strengthen the wider team spirit
* Provision of support for the prompt resolution of supplier queries and issues
* Assisting the wider business with general queries to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of villas.
* Checking of online descriptions and brochure pages as part of the production process to ensure accurate information is provided to our sales team and guests.
* Collating Villa Information for customers arrival documentation (Villa Books) ensuring complete a minimum of 4 weeks prior to arrival.
* Ensuring that quality website imagery is used throughout, suggesting updates to the Image Team where required.
* Review and analyse villa complaints and customer feedback scores to ensure villas are accurately represented and any issues are resolved.
* Review and analyse Quality feedback and work with the Quality Manager to identify poor quality villas and put together a suggested improvement plan to bring these villas back to a good standard.
* Review and respond to reviews and feedback ensuring follow up where action taken and issue resolved to forge a “You said, we did” ethos.
* Identify new trends or features in villas based on customer feedback to develop our Product.
* Additional duties as deemed reasonable and necessary to meet the needs of the business
What We’re Looking For:
* Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and supporting a team, with a focus on development and performance.
* Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to maintaining accuracy in systems, descriptions, and processes.
* Customer Focus: Strong ability to analyse feedback, resolve issues, and uphold high standards of guest satisfaction.
* Tech Proficiency: Confidence with tools like Microsoft Office, Drupal, Salesforce, and other CRM or property management systems.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive and resourceful mindset to address challenges and implement improvements.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers.
* Adaptability: A positive attitude toward varied tasks and a willingness to contribute to the broader business needs.
* Product management: 1 year (required)
* Travel Industry: 2 years (desirable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday (Thursday & Friday WFH days)
