Remote Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Children and Young Adult)

Nationwide – remote
Salary: £36,500 per annum based on FT hours. Part-time hours also available pro rata.
Permanent Position
Available Sessions:
* Afternoon/Evening Shifts: Candidates available to work during the afternoons and evenings.
* Weekend Availability: Weekend shifts are also available.
Flexible Working Options: We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of split shifts to accommodate evening schedules.
Our Accredited Counsellors work 8-hour shifts covering the hours between 8am to 8pm.

The Mental Wellbeing Practitioner Role will provide high quality, safe and effective support to Bupa corporate customers.

This role involves delivering a telephone counselling service to Children and Young People in accordance with Bupa policies and procedures.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Providing telephone counselling to a caseload of Children and Young People, with a varied mix of client presenting problems.
* Conducting mental health triage assessments.
* Assessing and managing risk to clients and others as required.
* Working in adherence to professional standards and compliance with the regulatory framework.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* Recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher.
* BACP Accredited.
* 2 years+ experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services.
* Preferably previous experience providing telephone counselling over short, medium or longer term.
* Experience in working with complex cases is desirable.
* Strong IT skills – experienced with MS Office packages (including preferably MS Teams) – this is a busy computer and phone-based role.
