Job summary The Reception Manager is responsible for leading the reception team to provide an efficient, patient-focused, and professional front-line service. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the reception area, ensuring smooth workflow, managing staff, and supporting the wider practice team in delivering high-quality care to patients. Main duties of the job Main Duties of the Reception Manager: Supervise and manage the reception team, ensuring efficient service. Ensure staff are using care navigation and booking patients into appropriate clinics Add rotas for all clinical staff onto EMIS, make appropriate changes to clinics as and when required. Book Annual leave for staff members and handle all ARRS staff annual leave request (remove clinics - add annual leave on EMIS) Manage reception area organization and maintain patient confidentiality. Train, mentor, and schedule staff shifts. Ensure compliance with practice policies on safeguarding, prescribing, complaints, SEAs etc Oversee administrative tasks like patient registration, tasks, clinic booking etc. Communicate with clinical staff and management to ensure smooth operations of Reception. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and confidentiality standards. Issue Chronic Disease and other recall list to staff for clinic booking Send out SMS messages as and when required via ACCRUX/IPLATO Ensure all DOCMAN letters are filed, coded and workflow correctly About us Little Lever Health Centre 2 is a team of Single GP, 1 HCA, PN, GPA, 5 Reception Staff and 2 Practice Managers.
