This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a high-profile, agile project, and we are now looking for an experienced Project Engineer to add to the professional expertise within our team.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are looking for an honest, confident, and motivated person who can deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects varying in size and complexity for Site Operations at HPC.
The projects you will deliver will comprise of:
* modifying and installing dewatering network infrastructure - both ground and surface water
* modifying and installing new utilities infrastructure; Potable Water, Foul, Telecommunication (IT&T), and Electrical networks.
You will:
* work through all project phases under NEC3 Engineering and Construction contract, from scoping through to delivery
* provide engineering technical expertise, propose changes to the existing network on site, and make best for project recommendations
* analyse project briefs, and develop full packages of works in accordance with client specifications
* interface between client, Tier 1 contractors with consistent and factual communication
* design, manage and oversee Works. Create packages for Operational teams to follow and undertake
* coordinate and facilitate the Installation and Decommissioning of new and existing Boreholes
* produce quality documentation and safe working procedures in line with nuclear site standards – RAMS, Activity Plans, Quality Inspection Records and Inspection Test Plans, Lift Plans, etc.
What you'll need
To be successful, you'll need:
* to have been educated to a relevant degree level or experience
* experience within Construction/Industrial/Civils/Electrical/Utility sector(s), and a similar role
* to have excellent interpersonal skills, and collaborative team experience
* the ability to build professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
* to have good organisational skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* effective decision-making skills
* to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* experience with a range of MS Office packages, and relevant engineering softwares.
